HELP .... THREE NEW RESEARCH PROJECTS UNDERWAY

Hospital Discharge:

If you are an individual who has recently been discharged from a local hospital and you have an experience you'd like to share with us, then PLEASE contact a member of the Who Cares staff team.  It may be that you received excellent support after leaving hospital, conversely you may have felt that things could have been better.  Please, get in touch and we'll send out a questionnaire.

Teenage Pregnancy:

Are the services available for young people appropriate to need, are they available when they are needed, how do young people from rural areas access services?  Please get involved, it's YOUR chance to help make a difference, let your voice be heard.

Are you a member or representative of a local Youth Group?  Can you spare a bit of time to help Who Cares with its research?  We need to recruit representatives from Youth Groups to assist the project through the Reference Group which will meet on an occasional basis to ensure that the intelligence gathering is appropriate and targeted.  This informal group is crucial to ensure that the research being gathered from as wide a range of young people as possible.

Mental Health Service:

Take part in the latest research project organised by Who Cares.  Please take a few minutes and share your experiences of using the Mental Health service with us.

WHAT ARE LINks?

Who Cares is the Health and Social Care Involvement Network for North Lincolnshire. It is independent of any influence other than that of its members AND we want you to be a member.

Do you want to contribute to health and social care service improvement?  If so read on.

Who Cares is an exciting opportunity for people to influence the design and delivery of health and adult social care services. It is completely independent ,the members will determine how Who Cares is structured, its policies and governance arrangements and the work that it follows.

Through this site you will be able to access details of our work, our structure, our key members and planned events.

It is important that members of the community participate in Who Cares in order for it to truly represent the views and needs of the whole of North Lincolnshire. We want a membership that is truly representative of the population of the county.

We know that many people lead busy lives and are unable to commit large amounts of time to participate in meetings and events, or are discouraged from involvement because they lack familiarity with these.

This Website is a portal for anyone interested in the work of Who Cares to make their views known, contribute to discussions and to participate fully in the work of Who Cares through the forums, blogs and members area of this website at a time and place convenient to them.
